Y&T move UK tour to October and November 2021
They've renamed it the Earthshaker 40th Anniversary Tour
Y&T’s upcoming autumn 2020 UK tour has been rescheduled to 2021 because of the ongoing coronavirus pandemic.
The Californian rockers will honour all nine UK shows next year, and they’ve renamed the trek the ‘Earthshaker 40th Anniversary Tour’.
The rearranged tour will kick off at Southampton The Brook on Tuesday 26th October 2021 before calling on at Norwich, Nottingham, London, Cardiff, Glasgow, Newcastle and Holmfirth before culminating at Wolverhampton’s KK’s Steel Mill on Sunday 7th November.
All tickets remain valid for the new tour dates.
Originally released in 1981, ‘Earthshaker’ is Y&T’s third studio album and it was their first under their shortened moniker after changing their name from Yesterday & Today.
Although it failed to make huge waves commercially, ‘Earthshaker’ is highly regarded by Y&T fans and album tracks including ‘Rescue Me’, ‘Hurricane’, and ‘I Believe In You’ are a mainstay of their setlists to this day.
