Scala Radio Celebrates Women in Music with Charity Foundation Donne
Scala Radio will highlight 10 women composers each month from February to April who have never been played on the station before

Scala Radio and Donne, Women In Music are working in partnership to highlight women composers who have never been played on the station before, with Scala selecting 10 pieces to premiere each month. Initially a three-month partnership, the campaign aims to introduce a wider audience to these composers and ensure that their work can be enjoyed by all.
Donne, Women in Music is a charitable foundation that is here to make a positive change and to readdress the gender inequality within the music industry. Their main goal is to celebrate, advance and amplify women in music so that they are seen, heard and appreciated for their talent, and so they can leave a legacy of inspiration for future generations.
