Bobby Brazier and two other celebs confirmed for Strictly Come Dancing

This year's Strictly Come Dancing line-up is shaping up very nicely, with bosses today (Wednesday 9th August), revealing three brand new celebs who have signed-up to take part in the 2023 series.
It's now been confirmed that actor Bobby Brazier will appear, after the son of Jeff Brazier and the late Jade Goody joined the cast of EastEnders earlier this year as Freddie Slater.
Bobby said: “I’m so excited to be part of the Strictly line up, I can’t wait to start training like a professional dancer and adding a few moves to my locker. I'm looking forward to performing in-front of everyone, it's going to be so much fun!”
As well as his role on EastEnders, 20-year-old Bobby also has a career in modelling, hitting the runway for Dolce & Gabbana at the Milan Fashion Week, as well as appearing on the front cover of style magazine Man About Town.
Bobby, who has a great relationship with his dad, TV presenter Jeff Brazier, is also keen on using his social media platforms to talk about mental health and well-being.
Bobby isn't the only famous face to be unveiled today, Coronation Street actress Ellie Leach and Paralympian Jody Cundy were also announced on Wednesday morning.
Ellie said: “It still doesn’t feel real that I’m going to be doing Strictly!! It’s always been a dream of mine so I guess dreams really do come true!!!!”
Jody said: “Excited to be welcomed into the Strictly family and throw myself head first into the world of ballroom dancing. So far away from what I’m used to, but I’m looking forward to the challenge and pushing myself way out of my comfort zone, especially as I’m always last onto the dance floor” Can’t wait to get stuck in, bring on the glitter and sequins!”
