Food on Friday Project

Food on Friday is a Dundee based project priding itself on bringing support and fun to the community of the North East of Dundee through cookery, gardening and a number of different community groups. Anthea Reid is the Project Manager and is fervently passionate about helping the community to develop.

Food on Friday requested financial support from Cash for Kids so that they could educate children in a fun way to make a difference through learning to cook and gardening The work that is done within the project is already making a positive impact on children and families.

Anthea says;

“It is very encouraging and exciting to see the enthusiasm from the children we work with, when they learn how to cook and grow their own produce. Over the last two years we are proud and humbled that at last we are beginning to make positive changes in people’s lives.”
