Alex James spoke to Dizzee Rascal on Thursday night

Dizzee's album The Fifth is four years in the making and he believes it provides value for money, "I'm excited to put out a whole body of work because when you hear all of these tracks in album form, I think people are going to be really impressed.

Everything is different, there's certain tracks that might be the same tempo but I think I've nailed it as far as everything that needs to be on there. It's value for money as well, I've not just flung out an album with ten tracks on, there's plenty on there." he said.

Despite collaborating with plenty of artists on the album, Dizzee reveals that he only got in the studio with some of them, "This album features Jessie J, Will.i.am, Robbie Williams, Angel and Sean Kingston but I only got in the studio with Sean, Angel and Robbie. But it still turned out great!"

Dizzee also talked about touring with Muse, his previous collaborations with Will.i.am and his relationship with the Electronic Dance Music scene. To listen to the full interview, press play below.
