Most brides dread changing their weight before their big day as they want their wedding dress to fit perfectly, but EastEnders' star Lacey Turner – aka Stacey Fowler - has opened up about her wedding dress and admitted she's gained weight.
The 29-year-old actress and her fiancé Matt Kay confirmed they were engaged last year on Instagram. Sharing a photo of his fiancé smiling at the camera while shr showed off her huge engagement ring, Matt wrote: " She said yes ooooosssshhhhhhhh #fiance @laceyturner
As the happy couple's big day is fast approaching Lacey has admitted that although she's gained weight, she's managed to find a way to stop being tempted to eat loads - consume all the chocolate in her house.
She told OK! magazine: "I've put on a few pounds since I bought my wedding dress, it’s so tight and they can’t let it out!
"What I’ve done now is I’ve eaten all the chocolate in the house so there’s no more to be tempted by until my wedding.
She went on to say: "I do feel more comfortable now, but I bought the dress when I was smaller. My best friend told me to get it in the bigger size, but the woman I bought it from said she’d never known a bride to put on weight before her wedding – I must be the exception!"
The bride-to-be doesn't seem worried though, as she added: "I'm sure it will be fine – when the nerves kick in I’ll probably lose a few pounds!
She'll be a stunning bride anyway!
The EastEnders actress also confessed that she and her fiancé are excited to get married so they can "fill our house with children".
