Former Miss Great Britain Zara Holland says she did 'nothing wrong'
The model was de-crowned on Friday
Zara Holland says she did ‘nothing wrong’ after she was stripped of her title as Miss Great Britain after having sex with Alex Bowen on the TV show Love Island.
The 20-year-old told a national newspaper that many people her age are going out and having sex and that she ‘knew what she was signing up for’ with the TV show.
She admitted that she enjoyed her time on the show and got ‘caught up in the moment’ with Alex.
Despite apparently having no regrets, the model said she feels bad that it might reflect negatively on her family and that her mum might have seen the steamy scenes.
Speaking about having her crown taken off her she protested that she hadn’t committed a crime and had worked extremely hard for the position of Miss Great Britain.
It comes after model stayed overnight in the Hideaway bedroom on the show with 24-year-old Alex, who's also Vicky Pattison's ex, and had sex underneath a blanket.

Deone Robertson has since been handed the crown and backed the pageant’s decision, saying that 'rules are rules' but said that she was sure that Zara would go on to do better things with her career.
The beauty pageant released a statement at the time saying that organisers felt they had ‘no choice’ but to de-crown Zara after she didn’t ‘uphold the responsibility expected of the title’.
However there was a backlash on Twitter as some accused the organisers of being 'in the dark ages'.
A petition, called ‘Give Zara Holland her Miss GB Title Back‘ has been signed by more than 15,000 people.
On the page it says: ‘I think it is a harsh punishment stripping her of her title for a silly little mistake and for only being human.
'I am aware that having a title like that comes with responsibilities and I for one think she has been absolutely amazing, she has shown she is a strong positive person, we have to remember she is still a young lady and what happened was only natural.
Zara left the ITV show early due to her mum being ill and recently tweeted to say that she's recovering well.
