The Only Way Is Essex star Jon Clark was left in complete shock last week when it emerged the girl he was dating, Chloe Crowhurst from Essex, was about to enter the Love Island villa for the entire summer.

Jon took to his social accounts to express his shock at seeing the girl he thought he was in love with, plastered all over the Love Island promotional posters, and now he’s expressed his anger one again.

The reality star shared a string of messages alongside a WhatsApp conversation between the pair, which appeared to show them loved up. One tweet read, 'This isn't a publicity stunt I'm hurt and feel betrayed!! This proves she was at my boxing match 2 weeks ago these messages where sent! And another proves she stayed at mine night before flying!! To @loveisland can see the dates on whatsapp!'. sic

He then added, 'I just want people to know who she really is! Liar!! Who does that to another human being! I couldn't do it!'

When the new series of Love Island kicked off on Monday night, Chloe was quick to sensationally reveal that she knew fellow islander Kem, because she used to go out with one of his best mates in Essex.

Of course viewers immediately thought the friend in question was in fact Jon, but now he's slammed the rumours admitting he's never met Kem.

Taking to Twitter, the 26-year-old wrote, 'Just to clarify for everyone! Kem ain't my pal we don't know eachother so that another fella 😩😂 hahaha gotta laugh.' sic

After seeing Chloe couple up with Kem on the show, Jon's mates including TOWIE's Gatsby and last year's Love Island winner Nathan Massey were quick to tell him he'd had a 'lucky escape'.

Meanwhile it seems Chloe and Kem's relationship is no more than friends as Love Island viewers witnessed the Essex boy telling Amber his feelings for her in last night's episode.

At the end of the episode it was revealed that two new boys will be entering the famous villa in the coming days, 24-year-old Chris Hughes and 26-year-old Jonny Mitchell.

The two new boys are set to make their Love Island debut in tonight's episode on ITV2 at 9pm.
