The 'Want To Want Me' singer is a friend of Ariana's and has performed at the Manchester Arena a number of times in the past. He told us when he first heard the news he thought it was "shocking and not believable".

"To me, you know, a concert is a place of love, it's a place of happiness, it's a place of sharing," he said, going on to explain why he posted a prayer as his response to what had happened on social media.

In the early hours of Tuesday morning, just hours after the attack, Jason posted on social media the prayer below.

Jason went on to say, "we shouldn't move in fear" explaining he has seen some of the "happiest and rewarding moments through concerts".
