Former Strictly Come Dancing star Oti Mabuse has shared a beautiful tribute to her daughter as she reaches six-months-old! The little girl, whose name Oti has not publicly shared, was born in November 2023, with Oti and her husband Marius Ieupre sharing the news of her birth on Christmas Day.

Taking to Instagram, Oti shared a moving post in tribute of her daughter, opening up about just how much of a milestone it is for the family - considering the fact that the little one was born two months early.

She wrote: 'Today marks 6 months since our little miracle entered this world, defying the odds with her early arrival. Being a mom to a premature baby has been a journey filled with ups and downs, but oh, the beauty in every moment! I’m endlessly grateful for my daughter’s strength and resilience.

'She’s taught me more about love, courage, and gratitude than I ever thought possible. Here’s to celebrating milestones, big and small, and cherishing the precious gift of motherhood. So appreciative of everyone who’s joined us on this incredible journey ❤️.'

Fans and friends flocked to the comments section to share their best wishes, with one writing: 'Happy half birthday! My preemie bubba turned 4 last week & she definitely taught me what resilience meant,' as another added: 'That has flown in! Happy 6 months with your special little lady ❤️.'

In February, Oti revealed that the little girl had spent six weeks in the NICU, telling Giovanna Fletcher on the Happy Mum, Happy Baby podcast: "I think we didn't hold her for about a week, because she was still in an incubator with wires, with jaundice so she was under blue light."

She added that she'd been diagnosed with Sepsis following the birth - but that bringing her baby home at Christmas was extra special: "Going through that emotional trauma that you go through when you have a premature baby, and then being in hospital with the little one for six weeks and then finally coming out and having her home with friends and family over Christmas was really nice."
