Shawn Mendes and his mum just got the most adorable matching tattoos

Canadian singer Shawn Mendes showed off his brand new elephant tattoo last week and now he's revealed he got the tattoo along with his mum Karen.
Shawn took to his Instagram story last week to show off a cute little elephant on the inside of his middle finger...
He's now confessed to GQ Magazine that he got the new inking with his mum as it was the only thing she would get! Shawn said, "I was trying to convince her to get a tattoo for a while and this is really the only thing that she would do because she’s obsessed with elephants."
He added, "It was the only thing. Like, a hundred different things I asked her to get with me and this was the only thing. She was like, 'I could do that.'"
The 'Mercy' singer also revealed his mum's tattoo is in the same place as his, on her middle finger! He said, "It's living on the same finger in the same spot, so it's pretty funny when you see us together"

Meanwhile as well as getting new tattoos, Shawn is also incredibly busy on his 'Illuminate World Tour'.
The 'There's Nothing Holdin' Me Back' singer performed in the UK back in April, before touring around Europe and America in the summer.
Shawn is set to play more dates in America before travelling to Australia, Canada, and Asia, where his mammoth tour will come to an end.
As well as delighting fans with some of his biggest hits to date, Shawn brought out perhaps the best surprise guest during a recent show in New York.
Introducing Ed Sheeran to the crowd, the pair performed a rendition of Shawn's hit ‘Mercy’. with Ed singing the second verse of the track to an ecstatic crowd.
