Royal Mail to release James Bond stamps to celebrate the 25th Bond film No Time To Die
They include hidden features!
As excitement builds for No Time To Die, with the first performance of the theme tune by Billie Eilish at The BRITs, it's now been revealed that there will be a new set of James Bond themed stamps and they have hidden features!
The Royal Mail will be releasing 10 new stamps, themed around six key James Bond films across the decades, including, Casino Royale, GoldenEye, The Living Daylights, Live And Let Die, On Her Majesty’s Secret Service and Goldfinger.
The new stamps will be on general sale from 17th March 2020 to celebrate the release of the 25th Bond film on the 2nd April, No Time To Die.
In addition to the stamps featuring six James Bond actors, there will also be four stamps that celebrate some of Q Branch’s most iconic vehicles, such as the Lotus Esprit S1 Submarine from The Spy Who Loved Me, Little Nellie, the autogyro from You Only Live Twice, the Bell-Textron Jet Pack from Thunderball and the Aston Martin DB5, from Skyfall.
Each of the stamps included on the Q Branch Miniature Sheet will also feature hidden features, only visible with a UV light, as well as a unique 007 perforation!
Speaking about the new stamps, a Royal Mail spokesperson said, "James Bond is a British icon, recognised throughout the world for decades."
He continued, "It’s fitting our new stamps celebrate the six Bonds with stylish and evocative designs."
In addition to the new stamp range, there will be some specially designed limited-edition handstamps, which include the words 'We’ve been expecting you' and 'No Time To Die'.
