Ed Sheeran has the 'Perfect' reason to celebrate

Ed Sheeran has the most perfect reason to celebrate today, after finding out last night that his video for his Number 1 song 'Perfect' had amassed over one billion views on YouTube.
Taking to his Instagram account, the singer/songwriter posted a picture from the snowy set and the caption. 'Perfect just hit 1 Billion views on YouTube. Yayayayay @zoeydeutch @jkoephoto'.
'Perfect' was Ed’s fourth release from his most recent album ‘÷’, and followed more upbeat hits ‘Shape Of You’, ‘Castle On The Hill’ and ‘Galway Girl’. He re-recorded a version of the song with Beyoncé and spent six weeks at the top of the charts, even claiming Christmas Number 1.
In 2017, Ed Sheeran broke a number of records with his first album in three years, '÷'. Ed topped the charts with 'Shape Of You' and at one point held nine of the top ten places on the Official UK Chart.
Ed is no stranger to passing the one billion mark as his music video for 'Shape Of You' became the fourth video in YouTube's history to pass three billion views. When he released all the songs from his album he clocked up over 20 million views in just 14 hours!
Ed Sheeran also had an incredible year in his personal life after proposing to girlfriend Cherry Seaborn (who of course said "yes"). He broke the news on his Instagram page by posting a loved-up photo with the caption, 'Got myself a fiancé just before new year. We are very happy and in love, and our cats are chuffed as well xx'. sic
However, after being spotted wearing a ring on his wedding finger, rumours started circulating that the 'Shape Of You' singer was already married. Our presenter Tom Green caught up with Ed at the BRIT Awards 2018 to try and get to the bottom of it...
