Lady Gaga fulfilled her lifetime dream by performing live with The Rolling Stones on Saturday night.

The pop megastar – real name Stefani Germanotta – joined the British rock legends on stage at Newark’s Prudential Center on for a rendition of their 1969 classic ‘Gimme Shelter’.

The gig, which also featured a guest spots from Bruce Springsteen and The Black Keys, was the final night of The Stones’ '50 And Counting' live shows which kick-started at London’s O2 Arena last month.

Alongside Mick Jagger, Gaga commanded the stage wearing an eye-catching black and silver striped catsuit, black spiked platform heels and flowing blonde hair extensions.

She commented afterwards: “I had a life dream to be transported in a time machine to 1973 NJ, beer + badboys. Someone heal me it happened + then I sang with the Stones.”
