Liam Payne wows fans with his performance of 'Bedroom Floor' on The X Factor

Liam Payne performed his brand new single 'Bedroom Floor' for the first time on TV over the weekend, when he returned to the stage that kick-started his amazing career.

Liam performed the stunning new track on The X Factor on Saturday night, and his vocals sounded amazing!

With his girlfriend Cheryl watching on proudly in the audience, Liam took to the stage to perform his third solo single and fans weren't left disappointed. Hitting the high notes in 'Bedroom Floor', Liam showed off his vocal range as well as his dance moves!

After the performance, Liam shared a photo to his Instagram page with the words, 'After all these years to come back and perform #BedroomFloor on that #XFACTOR stage was such a crazy feeling, which brought back so many memories! I feel truly grateful 🙏🏼' sic

Viewers were quick to tweet their love for Liam after his performance...

And is seems Cheryl also enjoyed Liam's energetic performance. The former X Factor judge sat in the crowd and gave her boyfriend a standing ovation, looking very proud.

This was the first time Liam has returned to The X Factor stage since One Direction's final ever performance back in December 2015.

Liam first started his career on the popular talent show when he was put into One Direction by Simon Cowell alongside Harry Styles, Niall Horan, Louis Tomlinson and Zayn Malik back in 2010.

The group only finished fourth on the show, but they went on to have amazing success across the globe.

In 2016 One Direction started their hiatus, with all four members going on to release solo material. Liam has since released the tracks 'Strip That Down', 'Get Low' and 'Bedroom Floor'.
