Netflix's Kaleidoscope makes HUGE One Direction error

The new show everybody is talking about...

Launching on Netflix on New Year's Day, new drama series Kaleidoscope is quickly becoming one of the most talked about shows on the planet right now, thanks to its unique selling point of being able to watch the episodes in any order.

The show, which follows a group attempt a heist worth $7 billion, includes eight episodes in total, with Netflix serving up users different orders on different accounts, and letting them decide how the story unfolds.

However, as viewers binge the show, fans of boyband One Direction have noticed a glaring error in the episode titled 'Green'.

As Judy attempts to bribe a prison guard with tickets to an exclusive One Direction show, fans were quick to notice the tickets were actually dated for 6th March 2016, a whole TWO MONTHS after Harry Styles, Liam Payne, Louis Tomlinson and Niall Horan started their hiatus.

One shocked Directioner wrote on Twitter: 'WHY IS NO ONE TALKING ABOUT ONE DIRECTION TOUR TICKETS IN 2016 MENTIONED IN THE NETFLIX SERIES #KALEIDOSCOPE !!!??? THE FACT THAT 1D WENT ON HIATUS IN 2015 AND WEREN'T EVEN TOGETHER IN 2016!!??? ALSO THEY PLAYED MSG ONLY ONCE IN 2012 WTFF😭😭💔💔 IT HURTS BEING A DIRECTIONER💔💔'. (sic)

Another wrote: 'I HAD to go back on kaleidoscope cause I KNEW I SAW ONE DIRECTION on those damn tickets. 2016? smh'. (sic)

A third added: 'one direction still being together in the year 2016 and playing msg in kaleidoscope was so funny #Kaleidoscope', with a fourth writing: 'The one direction cameo in kaleidoscope 😭😭 real ones know what’s wrong with the date'. (sic)

As fans will know, after Zayn Malik made the decision to leave One Direction in early 2015, Harry, Louis, Liam and Niall decided to release one more album, before announcing they'd be going on an extended hiatus.

All members of the successful band, who first formed on The X Factor, have now released solo music, with no sign of a reunion on the horizon.

Kaleidoscope is just one of the many shows set to be popular on Netflix this year, check out which others shows are scheduled for 2023:
