Love Island 2023: Who is André Furtado?
He's confirmed for series 10
It feels like only yesterday since we witnessed the love story unfold between Kai Fagan and Sanam Harrinanan, as the pair were crowned the winners of Winter Love Island in early March. But as Love Island series 10 starts on Monday 5th June, the Islanders have now been revealed.
After weeks of rumours that André Furtado would be heading into the villa, he was finally announced on Monday 29th May.

André is a confirmed Islander for the 2023 Summer series of Love Island. He will enter the villa on Monday 5th June during the launch show with host Maya Jama.

He said: "I’m charming, I’m going to bring good looks and some language lessons. I’m going to teach the other Islanders Portuguese, Spanish and a little bit of Creole. I think I’ve got every slice of the pie.
If money was no object, what would be his ideal first date?
He said: "I would love to go strawberry picking, I’d want to have a field spelt out in her name, then I’d have to ask her to be my girlfriend. So I’d like to plant a field full of strawberries."
Does he fall in love quickly?
He told bosses: "I would say I fall too quickly to be honest. When I look at beautiful ladies, before I’ve said hello to them I’ve already fallen in love. I’m already planning the wedding."
