Drivers in Angus were held up this morning, after a van containing a prisoner broke down on the A90 near Forfar.

The inmate was being transferred from Aberdeen to Dundee Sheriff Court at the time.

Police officers, who were passing through the area stopped to close the road southbound while the prisoner was transferred to another van.
