Dundee City Council website running again after outage

The website was down which the local authority say was due to an error causing a server outage

Dundee City Council's website is back up and running after being down and inaccessible.

In a tweet the local authority said they were working to "fix the error that is causing our server outage."

They stated: "Dundee City Council website is down today (Tues 19 Apr). We're sorry for any frustration this may cause.

"Thank you for your patience and understanding as we work to fix the error that is causing our server outage. If you need to contact the Council please call 01382 434000."

They have since resolved the issue and the website is now back and running. However, the local authority state that some services remain unavailable.

They said: "Dundee City Council website is back up and running (with a few services currently unavailable). Thank you for your patience and understanding as we work to resolve any outstanding issues. We're sorry for any frustration this may have caused you."
