Emergency services respond after car crashes into railings in Dundee

The Scottish Fire and Rescue Service were alerted to the crash at 9:14am

Emergency services rushed Riverside Drive after a car crashed into railings this morning, 21st May 2024.

The Scottish Fire and Rescue Service got the call at around 9:14am and sent two fire appliances to the scene.

One casualty was rescued prior to their arrival at the scene, near Dundee railway station.

A Scottish Fire and Rescue Service spokesperson said: “We were alerted at 9.14am on Tuesday, 21 May, to reports of a vehicle crashed into railings on Riverside Drive, Dundee.

“Operations Control mobilised two appliances to the scene and one casualty was rescued prior to our arrival.

“Crews left after ensuring the area was made safe.”

Police Scotland have been approached for comment.
