A Dundee man has appeared in court accused of downloading child abuse images at a council criminal justice social work office.

Andrew McLeod faces two charges allegedly committed on March 31 at Friarfield House in Dundee's Barrack Street.

Friarfield House is home of Dundee City Council's criminal justice social work team.

McLeod, 38, from Dundee, appeared in private on petition at Dundee Sheriff Court charged with taking or making indecent photographs of children and of possessing indecent photographs of children.

He made no plea or declaration and was fully committed for trial.

McLeod was remanded in custody ahead of further court dates being set.
