Dundee Man Killed By Rolling Car Named

74-year-old Anthony Carlin was taken to hospital following Wednesday's accident in Kirkton Avenue but died the following day.

Police have named a man crushed by his car outside his home.

Anthony Carlin, 74, was taken to hospital following Wednesday's accident in Dundee's Kirkton Avenue but died the following day.

Mr Carlin was crushed when his Skoda rolled backwards in his driveway and pinned him against a wall.

A Police Scotland spokesman said: "There are no apparent suspicious circumstances and a report has been submitted to the procurator fiscal.

"Police are continuing enquiries to establish the full circumstances surrounding the incident and anyone who was in the area of Kirkton Avenue at around 10.15pm on Wednesday and has further information that could assist officers with their enquiries is asked to contact Police Scotland on 101.''
