Investigation underway after dog walker attacked in Dundee

An investigation has been launched after a woman was assaulted in Dundee.

The 19-year-old was attacked while walking her dogs in the Hilltown Park area around 10pm last night.

She was uninjured and the man made off in the direction of James Street after being bitten by one of the dogs.

Police have said the man is described as being around 40-years-old with a stocky build and long curly hair that is light or grey.

He was wearing a red cap, a light blue windbreaker jacket and black cargo or work trousers.

Detective Sergeant Paul Walker said: “The woman involved was uninjured but was left shaken by this incident.

“We would urge anyone who may have information or any footage from a dashcam or private CCTV from the area to get in touch.
