A house was broken into and robbed on Glamis Road, Arbroath, between midday on Wednesday 27th and 9:30am yesterday (28th).

A window in a rear door was broken and entry gained.

Police tell us aren't sure exactly what was taken but believe electronic items, jewellery and designer handbags were stolen, with a value well into four figures.

It appears that some time was spent within the property by those responsible, and a fair amount of noise must have been made when they gained entry.

Police ask if anyone has any information that could help enquiries, please call 101 or speak to any Police officer.

Also information can be given anonymously through Crime Stoppers on 0800 555 111.
