Two men hospitalised following Arbroath assault

Two men have been hospitalised with serious but non-life threatening injuries following an assault in Arbroath.

Police are appealing for information following the incident at around 5:35pm on Tuesday, 2nd January 2024, in the Hercules Den Park View area of the town.

Enquires into the incident which saw the men, aged 44 and 24, taken to hospital are ongoing.

Officers are looking to speak to anyone who saw a dark coloured car and white coloured car in the area at the time of the incident.

Detective Constable Andy Howe said: “We would urge anyone who may have witnessed the incident or who may have any other information to get in touch.

“We would also be keen to speak to anyone who may have seen a dark coloured car and another white coloured car in the area around the time of the disturbance.

“Anyone with information can call 101, quoting reference 2219 of 2 January, 2024, or call Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.”
