Two men have been jailed in connection with the death of father-of-two Lee Small in Dundee.

The 40-year-old died during a botched robbery at his home on Ballindean Terrace in September 2021.

31-year-old Thomas Henderson pleaded guilty to Mr Small's murder while co-accused 29-year-old Michael King pleaded guilty to the lesser charge of culpable homicide.

Mr Henderson was jailed for life with a minimum of 18 years, and King for 10 years and nine months at the High Court in Edinburgh today.

Senior investigating officer, Detective Inspector Gavin McKinlay, said:

“Lee was within his own home when he was stabbed in a planned and reckless attack. I hope today’s sentencing will bring justice for Lee’s family and friends and our thoughts remain with them as they adapt to life after his tragic death.

“I’d like to thank the members of the local community for their invaluable assistance and support we received during our investigation, which ultimately enabled us to reach this conclusion today.”
