Three men charged with weapons offences in Dundee's West End
Armed officers swooped in on the trio yesterday evening
Three men have been arrested after armed police stopped a car in Dundee's West End last night.
That was on the Perth Road, around half 6. The trio are due to appear in court tomorrow, in connection with weapons offences.
Police say no shots were fired and that the arrests are part of an "ongoing inquiry."
A spokesperon for Police Scotland Tayside Division said: We can confirm that three men aged 46, 43 and 40 who were arrested in Perth Road, Dundee, on Sunday 18th November have been charged with offences relating to offensive weapons.
They are due to appear at Dundee Sheriff Court on Tuesday 20th November.
