Three men to appear in court following serious assault in Perth

Three men are to appear in court following a ‘serious’ assault in Perth.

Another man, who is 28, was attacked in the Mill Street area of the city in the early hours on 21 May.

He was taken to Ninewells Hospital in Dundee for treatment.

The suspects, who've been charged and aged 43, 30 and 18, are due to appear at Perth Sheriff Court at a later date.

Officers have thanked members of the public after previously appealing for information regarding the incident.

A Police Scotland spokesperson has said: “Following an appeal for information regarding a serious assault in Mill Street, Perth on Sunday May 21.

“We can confirm that three men aged 43, 30 and 18 have been arrested and charged.

“The three men are due to appear at Perth Sheriff Court at a later date.

“Officers would like to thank members of the public for their assistance in this matter.”
