Two cars stolen after a house break-in near Perth

The keys were stolen from a property in Almondbank before the cars were taken.

Police have launched an investigation after two cars were stolen from a property near Perth following a break-in.

Keys for an Audi and Mercedes were taken from the home on Mackenzie Drive between Saturday evening and the early hours of Sunday morning.

The Mercedes has been recovered but the blue Audi SQ5 is still missing, the registration is Y666 TOY.

Detective Constable Luke Doogan said: “We would urge anyone who may have seen or heard any suspicious or unusual activity around the area over the weekend to get in touch.

“If you believe you have seen the car at any time since the early hours of Sunday morning then please let us know.

“We would also be keen to speak to anyone who may have dashcam or private CCTV footage if it shows anything that may be of interest.

“Anyone with information can call 101, quoting reference 1004 of 16 January, or call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.”
