Terms and Conditions:
The following rules (“Specific Rules”) together with the “BAUER MEDIA – COMPETITION GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS” (“General Terms”) which can be found at http://www.bauerlegal.co.uk/radio-competition-terms.html, apply to this competition (“Competition")
Anyone who enters the Competition (an “Entrant”) will be deemed to have read and understood these Terms and Conditions along with the “General Terms” and will be bound by them.

Start Date and time: Wednesday 27th December 6:00am
End Date and time: Wednesday 27th December 18:00pm
Any entries received before or after these dates won’t be counted but may still be charged.

This Competition is running across the Bauer Radio Network. All valid entries will be pooled and one winner selected at random. The participating radio stations are:

Restrictions. Only open to people who: (i) live in England or Scotland; (ii) are 18 years or over at the date of their entry; and (iii) are not one of our employees (or living with one of our employees). You can enter this competition a maximum of 6 times per mobile number via SMS (including free entries) and a maximum of 6 times per mobile number online.
How to enter
You can enter the competition by sending an SMS message starting with any of the valid keywords to the 5 digit shortcodes, as listed below. If your message does not start with the one of the valid keywords, or is not sent to one of the valid shortcodes, as stated below it will not be entered in to the draw. How much it costs. Entrants are responsible for all costs associated with entering this competition. Texts cost £2 (from the UK) + standard network rate. You must have permission from the bill payer before sending. Online entry is free.
Bounce-backs and bonus entries. Once you’ve sent an entry text, you’ll receive an auto-response confirming your entry. You will then have the chance to text: the keyword to the short code, again (at a further cost of £2 + standard network rate) and you will be entered 2 more times - your ‘3rd’ entry being free. If you use a different keyword and shortcode combination to your first entry, you will not receive your 3rd entry for free.
Draw details and winner announcement. Within 28 days of the Competition end date, all valid entries will be pooled, and one winner will be selected by random draw. They will be contacted personally (as soon as possible and at least within 30 days of the end date) and also announced on air as soon as possible after the winner has been notified.
Prize details. £5,000. Prize money will be paid in cash, by bank transfer or by cheque but payment is subject always to the winner providing photo ID and proof of address. Our prizes are always non-transferable and (unless the competition is for a cash prize) cannot be exchanged for cash.
Data Protection. By entering the competition, you are automatically consenting to receiving marketing communications from us via SMS text message. You can opt out of this at any time by texting: STOP to 63103, 61025 or 64100. This will be charged at your standard network rate but you will need to do this each time you text us to enter the competition. Your personal data will (regardless of whether you opt-out) always be used to process your entry. Recording consents. We will sometimes (at our discretion) telephone Entrants and ask them to speak on-air. You have the right to refuse, and your entry to the competition will not be affected by your refusal. If you consent, your voice will be recorded and you consent to this recording being used on our radio broadcasts. You agree that we will own this recording and that a copy of it will be stored for further exploitation, which may include promotion. Whilst on-air, you promise not to make any statement which is offensive or inappropriate or which would cause us, or our listeners, harm. You will not be put through to speak on-air if we think you are driving, intoxicated, likely to swear, or otherwise offend our listeners.
Other conditions. We will only accept entries that comply with our Specific Rules and General Terms and we may disqualify you if we know or suspect that you have breached them. Our decision on the selection of the winner is final and we won’t engage in any correspondence or discussion about this or about the operation of this competition. We are not responsible for any network or technical issues you experience, such as latency of your mobile phone network, which may delay or prevent your participation. We have the right to cancel, amend, terminate or suspend this competition if forced to do so due to circumstances outside our control.
