Tributes are being paid to woman who died in East Yorkshire crash

A crowdfunding page says Claudia Niculae was the passenger in a car that collided with a van on 11th September in East Yorkshire.

Her Mum who was driving the car suffered serious injuries but they're not thought to be life threatening.

A crowdfunding page has raised more than £1700 for Claudia's body to return and rest in her home country of Romania.

Humberside Police are still appealing for witnesses:

"We are appealing for witnesses to a collision which happened on the B1248, Station Road between Lund and Bainton, in the East Riding of Yorkshire that happened at 7.30am yesterday (Wednesday 11 September).

"A silver Renault Cleo was travelling north on the B1248 when it was in collision with a Transit van travelling in the opposite direction.

"The Cleo sustained extensive damage and both the driver and passenger were injured and taken to hospital.

"The passenger, a woman, sadly died of her injuries in hospital yesterday. The driver, a woman, suffered serious injuries but these are not thought to be life-threatening.

"Four men who were travelling in the van were not injured in the collision."
