Cash for Kids Food and Drink Festival

Join us for the first Cash for Kids Food and Drink Festival, in partnership with Marine Troon!

This new event, taking place on Saturday 1st June 2024 12-5pm, will showcase our region's outstanding produce with hand-picked local stallholders selling what they've grown and made.

There'll also be a charity raffle, bar selling alcoholic and non-alcoholic Cash for Kids cocktails and a BBQ!

Please note that the event will be held outside on the grounds of Marine Troon.

Entry tickets are £5 per person and children under 16 go free. We've also got three masterclass demonstrations lined up for an extra charge!

Masterclass with Chef Sagar Massey

Chef Massey, Senior Sous Chef at Marine Troon, will be hosting a cooking masterclass from 1pm to 1.45pm in The Gailes Suite, creating an Indian inspired dish using local Scottish produce.

About Chef Massey: From humble beginnings on the streets of India, Massey has always harboured a passion for cooking and an unwavering love for Indian cuisine. In 2022, he placed second on MasterChef: The Professionals, wowing judges with dishes like Masala Halibut.

Masterclass with Lochlea Distillery

Lochlea Distillery is an independent, family-owned single malt whisky distillery located in Ayrshire. Set on the scenic grounds of Lochlea Farm, we grow and harvest our own barley and use it to make our whisky. We’re delighted to be taking part in this year’s Cash for Kids festival at Marine Troon and will be showcasing our core single malt whisky, Our Barley, alongside a deliciously refreshing seasonal serve, The 'Pear Fizz Highball'. Our Production Supervisor, Darren, and Production Operator, George, will be on hand to take you through a Lochlea masterclass, and you’ll be able to sample and purchase our whisky on the day too. We look forward to seeing you!
