Cash for Kids Lunch raises £87,000!

The Cash for Kids lunch raised £87,000!

Our sponsors on the day were, Avesta, Hamilton Tarmac, QTS, Booth Welsh, Asda and the Hunter Foundation.

The day kick-started with local children singing songs from a CD they have recorded for Cash for Kids and selling at £1. Pipers from another school also came along and piped guests into the event.

The Provosts from the three local authorities that Cash for Kids supports were present. The entertainment on the day was, Billy Kirkwood comedian, Lewis Irons solo singer, Drums N’ Roses, Dirty Harry (a Debbie Harry tribute band) and Big Country. During the last 2 hours the event was played out by local band, Waterfront.

Contributing to our overall total, we raised £29,200 from the main auction,£4,930 in the silent auction and the raffle raised over £6,000!
