Why are we raising money for Cash for Kids Superhero Day?
Holiday hunger is a real problem for families on low incomes, who normally receive free school meals, and can mean it is a struggle to feed their kids during school holidays.
We have four staff (Cash for Kids, Content, News and a Radio Presenter) who have pledged to live on £1 a day for a week to try and highlight the issue of feeding yourself on a low income. Watch this space to see their video diary and how they fared during the challenge.
