Game of Thrones star Maisie Williams gave the perfect response to a newspaper article that focused on her outfit rather than the charity ball she was attending.
The actress tweeted a screengrab of a Daily Mail Online article which had the title ‘Unveiled: Game of Thrones’ Maisie Williams goes braless in sheer lace dress and quirky headpiece at charity masquerade ball’.
Clearly not appreciative of the title, the 19-year-old tweeted with an alternative title reading ‘Alternative: Game of Thrones actor, Maisie Williams, helps raise thousand at Summer Masquerade Ball for @NSPCC’.
Her tweet has since been retweeted nearly 4,500 times and has been liked by nearly 8,000 users. Fans of the actress and charity NSPCC were quick to show their support for the actress, thanking her for her hard work.
Maisie found fame playing Arya Stark in hit fantasy show Game of Thrones and has since won various awards for the portrayal of her role.
