HBO have announced a date for the series to return
It’s the series that has the nation hooked, so when we found out the official air date for season six of Game of Thrones we were overcome with excitement.
American network HBO has finally given us a release date for the new season. Season six is set to be aired on Sunday April 24th. Although this is American timing’s, don’t worry because Sky Atlantic are going to air the first episode of the season at the same time, which will be 2am UK time.

Viewers were left on a cliff-hanger in the final episode of season five with many not knowing if Jon Snow is really dead, so fans of the hit show will be in for a treat when the show returns to screens in April.
