So just like most of us back in the days of 'Jelena' in 2011-2012, it seems American model Hailey Baldwin was fan-girling over her now fiancé Justin Bieber and his ex-girlfriend Selena Gomez.

Hailey, who officially announced her engagement to Biebs yesterday, seemed to be rooting for the young couple a number of years ago, in a series of old tweets that have resurfaced thanks to fans.

Way back in September 2011, Hailey wrote, 'I don't care what anyone says but Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez together is the definition of a teenage dream! #word'. sic

As if that wasn't enough, she then expressed her disappointment when the pair failed to show up at the Vanity Fair party in 2012. She wrote, 'I gotta say I was really looking forward to seeing what color coordination Jelena was gonna do for this years VF party.. #sigh #ohwell'. sic

Fast forward six years and things are VERY different for Hailey. After Justin's split from Selena earlier this year, the 'Sorry' singer started dating Hailey again and things have worked out amazing for the pair.

After rumours circulated over the weekend about an engagement between the pair, Biebs confirmed the reports with a long winded post on Instagram.

Celtic FC footballer Scott Sinclair proposed to Coronation Street actress Helen Flanagan in Disneyland, just weeks before the couple's second child was due to arrive.

Sharing a cosy photo of the pair, Justin wrote, Was gonna wait a while to say anything but word travels fast, listen plain and simple Hailey I am soooo in love with everything about you! Rumours first started swirling about Justin and Hailey in December 2014, but the pair were quick to deny it, admitting they were just 'friends'. Then, the pair spent New Year's Eve together in 2015.

With rumours continuing for the next year, Justin and Hailey enjoyed a cosy holiday together in December 2015, with the pair going Instagram official in January 2016 by posting a photo of themselves sharing a kiss.
