Cast your mind back to 1995, and if you're of a certain age you'll mostly likely remember Worms - the classic computer game. Even if you didn't play it, you probably knew someone who did and now it's going to be re-released for a whole other generation to know and love.

It's been 25 years since the game's original release, and Team17, the company behind the popular 90s game, have announced it will be making a comeback in 2020.

With the official game account also sharing the video, tweeting, 'Get ready for Worms like you’ve never played before!'

The short video shared on social media has clips of the previous games shown on an old-style cartoon TV, before the camera zooms out and the viewers get to hear the unmistakable cry from a Worm at war!

The news of Worms making a comeback has been received by some very excited fans, with one replying, 'Hell. Yes.', and another saying, 'YESSSSSSSSSSSSSS! MAXIMUM HYPE!'.

For those who remember the game, it involved commanding your troop of worms to destroy your opponent's worms, using all sorts of weapons, including everything from a bazooka to a hand grenade.
