Caitlyn Jenner, formerly known as Bruce Jenner, has reportedly been offered a massive sum of £1 million to star in the upcoming summer series of Celebrity Big Brother.

According to reports bosses of the show are keen to land the reality star, who came out as a transgender woman in 2015, and have been in 'talks' with Caitlyn.

Caitlyn has been over in the UK recently where she attended the LGBT Awards in London and also appeared on a number of TV shows to document her life including This Morning and Loose Women.

But it seems Caitlyn also met up with Channel 5 bosses during her visit.

According to a national newspaper, an insider for the show said, "The bookers are really keen to have Caitlyn in the house."

They added, "They know she’d be TV gold so they’re prepared to break the bank for her.

"The world has been fascinated by Caitlyn’s story and getting her would push ratings through the roof."

Caitlyn was known as Bruce Jenner, Olympian and stepfather to Kim, Khloe, Kourtney and Rob Kardashian and father to Kendall and Kylie Jenner, before she shocked the world in 2015 by coming out as a transgender woman on the cover of Vanity Fair magazine.

With the headline, 'Call me Caitlyn', the reality star debuted her new name and look and has since revealed she always felt she was a woman, despite living life as Bruce for more than 60 years.

Since then Caitlyn has revealed all in her new book The Secrets Of My Life, starred in her own reality TV show I Am Cait and become one of the most recognised people within the LGBT community.

With Big Brother expected to return next month, it's no denying she would be a great booking for the popular Channel 5 show.

Meanwhile, bosses revealed the brand new colourful eye logo last week and dropped a few hints about what viewers can expect from the new series.

Sharing the new eye to their social media pages, the logo was captioned with the words, 'The United Kingdom of #BigBrother... and everyone is welcome. #BBUK returns to @channel5_tv next month!'

The new eye shows a number of images which represent 'modern Britain', including a red telephone box, a polling station, the gates of Buckingham Palace and a pot of tea.

Channel 5 have since described this year's series as a 'must-watch culture clash of modern Britain'.

The statement reads, "At a time of political upheaval and tough questions about unity in the UK, Big Brother brings you an alternative look at Britain.

"Standby for a very British summer of contrasts, conflicts and collaboration...and more fireworks than you could imagine, as a selection of people, from a range of backgrounds, come together in the ultimate social experiment."

The civilian version of Big Brother is set to begin in June ,with the celebrity version following immediately after.
