With the exciting news last month that Sabrina the Teenage Witch would be getting a reboot, the cast of the original series reunited last weekend, just in time for Halloween.

Appearing at the Los Angeles Comic Con, Melissa Joan Hart (Sabrina), Nick Bakay (Salem the cat), Caroline Rhea (Aunt Hilda), Beth Broderick (Aunt Zelda), Nate Richert (Harvey) and more, reunited on stage to talk about the TV series which ran from 1996 to 2003.

Taking to the stage they revealed amongst other things what they thought their characters would be doing now, and which was their favourite episode.

The star of the show, Melissa Joan Hart, now 41-years-old, took to Instagram to document the reunion, including streaming an Instagram Live video in which she described as "so crazy".

According to the actress it was the first time that some of the actors and actresses had met because they had worked on the show at different times.

Melissa's co-star and on-screen love interest Nate Richert (who played Harvey Kinkle) also posted a short video of him taking to the stage at the event. He and his former co-stars were welcomed by a huge cheer from the gathered audience.

Nate also posted additional photos from the reunion.

While on stage the reunited cast confirmed that they didn't have anything to do with the new reboot of the series, but they did give us a little bit of insight into what they thought their characters would be up to now, nearly 15 years since the show finished.

As Entertainment Weekly reports Nate said, "Sabrina and Harvey would probably be having a 16-year-old at this point," whilst Melissa said she imagined they had “probably started our own school, like, Hogwarts. Started our own little witch school, maybe foster some children that are part mortal, part witch, and teach them how to navigate that world."

Reports last month revealed the new show will be called The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina and is based on one particular series, which tells the story of Madam Satan – Sabrina’s dad’s ex – who’s returned from hell to reap her revenge on the Spellman family. No release date for the reboot has been announced yet.
