Last year we revealed that the popular 90s TV show Sabrina The Teenage Witch would be making a comeback, and now some further details have been revealed.

While the title for the Sabrina reboot has been rumoured for a while, it has only recently been confirmed by Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa, creator of Riverdale. The TV writer took to Twitter to confirm that the official name of the reboot will be Chilling Adventures of Sabrina.

Accompanied by a photo of the new Sabrina (Kiernan Shipka) sitting in a director's chair, he tweeted, 'It’s official! “Chilling Adventures of Sabrina” is our title! Something wicked this way comes…@kiernanshipka #incredible #netflixsabrina'

And, since announcing the official title the response from fans has been very encouraging. One fan commented, 'So happy she got the role! She’s amazing 💗', with another saying, 'Such a cutie'.

Another fan tweeted three heart emojis with a gif showing Salem filing his claws.

Earlier this year the cast of Chilling Adventures of Sabrina were confirmed to include Lucy Davis aka Dawn from The Office and Kiernan Shipka, who's previously starred in Mad Men and Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt.

Lucy will play quirky Aunt Hilda, and they've even found a new black cat to take on the very important role of Salem.

Other characters include Father Blackwood, a high priest in the Church of Night and the leader of the Academy of the Unseen Arts, according to Deadline, who will be played by Richard Coyle.

Michelle Gomez (known for roles in Doctor Who and Green Wing) will play evil Mary Warden, who tries to turn Sabrina to the dark side.

And new star Chance Pedromo will take on his first TV role as Ambrose Spellman, Sabrina's English warlock cousin.
