A Beith man will run the Edinburgh Marathon later this month to raise money for a charity which helps supports a tot in his care.

Paul Wilson says he didn't realise how little support there was for the families of deaf children until he started caring for North Ayrshire's only profoundly deaf child.

Paul looks after 2 year-old Sidney Crerar - back in March we told you how Sidney lost his cochlear implants worth thousands of pounds while he was out with Paul - we put out an appeal and they were found 4 days later.

Now, Paul fundraising for West Scotland Deaf Children's Society and spoke to our reporter Natalie Crawford...

There's a link of Paul's just giving page on the local news section of our website.
