Human remains found in search for missing Kilmarnock woman, Emma Faulds

The 39 year-old was reported missing at the end of April.

Detectives searching for missing Kilmarnock woman, Emma Faulds, say they have found human remains.

The 39 year-old was last seen at around 9.10pm on the 28th of April in Fairfield Park, Monkton, South Ayrshire.

Her family reported her missing to police days later and have been left “utterly distraught” by her disappearance.

Yesterday, Wednesday 12th June, police found human remains in Galloway Forest near Glentrool in Dumfries and Galloway.

A spokesperson said, "“The family of Emma Faulds has been made aware and enquiries are ongoing."

A 39 year-old man, Ross Willox, was arrested on the 9th of May and has made two appearances at Ayr Sheriff Court charged with murder and attempting to defeat the ends of justice. He had made no plea.
