Kilmarnock make up artist gifted thousands of pounds worth of products from American brand

A Kilmarnock teenager is hoping for her big break after being picked up by a major brand in America.
Shanyn Boax is a make up artist and regularly shares her work on social media racking up thousands of likes.
And now the 19 year-old has been gifted more than £4k worth of cosmetics from Anastasia Beverly Hills to use and promote.
Shanyn told West FM News, "It is a whole big PR package. I was so over the moon and happy. I was just in complete shock and couldn't believe it.
"When I started college two years, I was more interested in working in catwalk, TV and film with make-up.
"I have also watched YouTube from a young age and just think it would be such an amazing thing to do. I am not really making any big plans but just going with the flow and seeing where it takes me.
"I was really embarrassed to tell anyone make-up is what I want to do because I didn't think anyone would take me seriously. But now that I'm not listening and caring what other people think I'm so much more happier. And look at the rewards which have now come from it."
