McKenzie & Higginbotham could sit out for tonight's Dundee game

Kilmarnock boss Lee Clark is considering resting playmakers Rory McKenzie and

Kallum Higginbotham for Wednesday's trip to Dundee.

Both players are one yellow card away from a suspension that could potentially rule them out of the second leg of this month's Premiership play-off final, so therefore may not be risked.

Defenders Steven Smith (hip), David Syme (fractured leg) and Mark Connolly (hip) are out for the season while winger Chris Johnston (knee) is closing in on his return.

Provisional squad: MacDonald, O'Hara, Hodson, Addison, Balatoni, Findlay, Ashcroft, Slater, Dicker, Higginbotham, Obadeyi, Carrick, McKenzie, Boyd, Kiltie, Magennis, Frizzell, Faubert, Westlake, McHattie, Henshall, Johnston, Brennan.
