Second man arrested in connection with death of Saltcoats man

A second man has been arrested and charged in connection with the death of Saltcoats man Alan Lawson.
A 27-year-old man is due to appear at Kilmarnock Sheriff Court on Wednesday following the brutal assault at a home in Largs over the weekend of Saturday, 3rd February.
Mr Lawson was left for dead and found at his home on New England Road, Saltcoats the following day.
He died from his injuries in hospital two days later.
Previously, a 29-year-old man was arrested and charged in connection and appeared at the same sheriff court on Tuesday, 20th February.
