Trial to begin for man charged with murdering Emma Faulds

Ross Willox is accused of killing the 39 year-old in Monkton.

The trial of the man charged with murdering youth worker Emma Faulds is set to go ahead next month.

Ross Willox, 40, is accused of killing the 39 year-old in Monkton, on April 28th 2019.

Willox denies the accusations.

A previous trial had been posted due to the pandemic, but the Crown Office has now confirmed a date has been set for April.

The trial is believed to be before Lord Mulholland. A further preliminary hearing is expected to take place before then this month.
