Liam Gallagher to sing classic Oasis B-sides on 'Definitely Maybe' 30th anniversary tour

Liam Gallagher has named some classic Oasis B-sides he'll perform on next year’s 'Definitely Maybe' 30th anniversary tour.
Back in May, Liam Gallagher dropped the exciting news to fans that he will perform Oasis’ seminal debut album ‘Definitely Maybe’ in its glorious entirety in 2024 to mark its three-decade landmark.
He told his followers on X at the time: “As it’s 30 years since DM was released nxt year I’m gonna be playing the album from start to finish in its original order at a few BIBLICAL venues LG x”
Over the past week, Liam Gallagher has continued to tease the ‘Definitely Maybe’ tour on X, saying that dates are “in the post” and will be announced “soon.”
When one follower asked if he’s planning to perform Oasis B-sides, Liam replied in the affirmative: “Yes WE are.”
He added to another fan: “Of course your getting it all (‘Definitely Maybe’) and a few Norty b sides might even roll out (Oasis' cover of The Beatles') I am the walrus just for crocs n boob tubes.”
In a separate conversation, Liam said he’ll be tackling the Noel Gallagher sung 'Whatever' B-side ‘Half the World Away’, which was famously used as the theme tune to the Royle Family, on the tour.
Ruling out ‘Take Me Away’, Liam wrote: “No (it’s not on the setlist) but Half the world away will be I’ve never sung that song bfore somebody stop me cmon.”
Commenting on whether ‘Live Forever’ B-side ‘Cloudburst’ will make the setlist, Liam said: “Was listening to (the Oasis B-sides) yesterday and that blew me away for sure.”
He added to another follower later: “It’s on the list Rkid”
Revealing what song he wants to perform most on the tour, Liam singled out ‘Definitely Maybe’ track ‘Married with Children’ saying he's “never done it live”, and he also confirmed standalone single ‘Whatever’ is definitely “on the list.”
Oasis’ 1998 B-Sides album ‘The Masterplan’ is getting a collector’s edition reissue on Friday 3rd November to mark its 25th anniversary.
