Anne-Marie reveals her 'proudest moment' and it's NOT what you'd expect

Her songs have been nominated for BRIT Awards and she's about to release a new album, but Anne-Marie revealed to Hits Radio Breakfast that the highlight of her time in lockdown was growing a potato and digging it up!
Yes, you read that right, Anne-Marie has been trying out a bit of gardening during the lockdown, so when Fleur East, James and Producer Matt asked her about the highlight of the months in lockdown she said, "You know what? Reaching into that soil and pulling out a potato was one of the proudest moments of my life! Forget the album, the potato...
"I did love that, I'm not going to lie," the singer continued, "Honestly, my birthday (was a highlight), I was really worried about, I'd always spent my birthday on tour, or with my family, or around people, which obviously everyone does."

Anne-Marie turned 29-years-old on 7th April and explained why she was so worried, "I was so scared about spending it on my own, and I ended up doing a YouTube Live, and it ended up being the biggest birthday of my life!"
Anne-Marie has just released her new song, a collab with Doja Cat called 'To Be Young' and told the Hits Radio Breakfast team how it came about.
"This all happened during lockdown," Anne-Marie explained, "I'd written this song in October last year, when we were allowed out, and that whole verse that she (Doja Cat) did was just empty because we didn't have a middle eight, and we were like, 'this definitely needs someone in it', and we no idea who it would be."
Then, as luck would have it, months later, a producer played it to Doja Cat who loved it and wanted to be on it! She recorded her verse the very next day and it made Anne-Marie cry!

For the ultimate summer vibes, Lennon Stella and Charlie Puth released their hit 'Summer Feeling' in May 2020, from Scoob! The Album.
SZA and Justin Timberlake 'The Other Side'
SZA and Justin Timberlake released 'The Other Side' which was featured on the soundtrack for Trolls World Tour. The film had limited release due to the Coronavirus outbreak and instead was released on Blu-ray and DVD in June 2020.
Lady Gaga and Ariana Grande - 'Rain On Me'
Lady Gaga and Ariana Grande teamed up for the super successful 'Rain On Me' in June 2020. The song features on Lady Gaga's latest album 'Chromatica' which has become the fastest selling album of the year so far.
Becky Hill and Sigala - 'Heaven On My Mind'
Becky Hill and Sigala dropped 'Heaven On My Mind' in June. The song was a surprise and fans love it. Becky also dropped a music video on the same day the song was released.

Calvin Harris and The Weeknd 'Over Now'
Calvin Harris and The Weeknd released their collab 'Over Now' on 28th August. The music video is a CGI animated video featuring a disco ball-style recreation of The Weeknd in various futuristic locations.
Dua Lipa - 'Club Future Nostalgia'
Dua released 'Club Future Nostalgia' in August 2020 - a remixed version of her second album 'Future Nostalgia', released in March 2020. The new album featured the likes of Madonna, Missy Elliott, Mark Ronson, Gwen Stefani and Blackpink.
Justin Bieber featuring Chance the Rapper - 'Holy'
