Jax Jones reveals how being a DJ has prepared him for fatherhood
His wife gave birth to Lawana recently
Jax Jones has just released a new song with Au/Ra called 'i miss u', AND welcomed a little baby girl, revealing the beautiful, unusual name of Lawana. Although Jax is known mostly as a DJ and producer he revealed he's loving being a new dad.
The 'Instruction' DJ has already shown off a super cute video of himself dancing with his newborn, with the caption, 'Lawana. When life gets stressful sometimes you just gotta dance it off 💃🕺'.
And now, finding time in his busy schedule Jax Jones joined Hits Radio Breakfast with Fleur East, James and Producer Matt from his home in London. After previously joining us from the middle of the Lincolnshire countryside at the height of lockdown, Jax said it was great to be back in London.
Admitting that he's really loving being a new dad, he revealed that his DJ life has prepared him for the sleepless nights.
"What I have lost in sleep I have gained so much, it's the best thing in the world," Jax explained, going on to say, "You see life in a different way, and your world widens, it's a beautiful thing."
He continued, "The DJing prepared me for this, so I'm used to broken sleep and we took Lawana to the video shoot, within three weeks she was there. She can sleep through a rave!"
When he's back in the clubs DJing Jax also admitted that Lawana will probably be there backstage in the dressing room. Aww!

SZA and Justin Timberlake released 'The Other Side' which was featured on the soundtrack for Trolls World Tour. The film had limited release due to the Coronavirus outbreak and instead was released on Blu-ray and DVD in June 2020.

Lady Gaga and Ariana Grande teamed up for the super successful 'Rain On Me' in June 2020. The song features on Lady Gaga's latest album 'Chromatica' which has become the fastest selling album of the year so far.

Calvin Harris and The Weeknd released their collab 'Over Now' on 28th August. The music video is a CGI animated video featuring a disco ball-style recreation of The Weeknd in various futuristic locations.
Dua Lipa - 'Club Future Nostalgia'
